A Quick Reminder for the 11th Chaktomuk Short Film Festival Submissions!

PHNOM PENH: The Chaktomuk Short Film Festival is launching its 11th edition (CSFF-XI) and will accept short film submissions until 23:59 PM on 15 June (Cambodia time).

Organized by Sunflower Film Alliance, CSFF-XI’s filmmaker campaign, Chaktomuk Film Insight, has reached out to both its online and offline audiences six times so far. The latest outreach activity was conducted last week in Ratanakiri province, in conjunction with “Let’s Document Cambodia” screenings, to highlight the festival’s documentary category.

To encourage both our Cambodian and international filmmakers to submit their films to us, we are going to conduct another series of awareness campaigns,” stated the CSFF 2022 Director, Mr. Sithen SUM. “Lerng Rong Kon will be conducted with our main cinema partner, Legend Cinemas, at their top-notch Noro Mall branch, featuring fan-favorite short films from our previous editions and a martial arts show.”

CSFF accepts music videos, animation, fiction, and documentaries, as long as the films do not exceed 30 minutes in length. This CSFF-XI will feature prizes in the following competitive categories: Best Cambodian Short Film, First Runner-Up Cambodian Short Film, Best International Short Film (NEW), Audience Award for Local Short Films, and Audience Award for International Short Films.

The short film festival is officially supported by the Ministry of Information and Legend Cinemas, with Sabay News and EAC News as its media partners. The festival welcomes any financial support, especially in the form of cash prizes to the upcoming winners.

If you want to network with other filmmakers in Phnom Penh and connect your story with a large audience, submit your short film now through https://filmfreeway.com/CSFF or http://csff.co/submission/.
